We're constantly warned about staying safe when using the ATM, as it is a highly targeted spot for criminals.

Despite the safety measures, sometimes criminals still manage to pull a fast one on bank users, leaving them feeling vulnerable and disheartened.

One man is taking no chances when it comes to keeping his money safe, and we have to admit, we like his innovative approach. His method might not follow the status quo on being considerate to fellow civilians, but it is a bold statement.

A video shared on the Arrive Alive Instagram page shows a man using an ATM with his snake as a companion.

In the video, nearby ATM users and passersby express their shock as they see the man's snake wrapped around his neck.

Arrive Alive shared the video to highlight how busy it gets around month-end and cautioned people to remain vigilant.

The man didn't seem phased by the people around him, but his snake made its presence known.

His clever antics in staying safe at the ATM amused social media users. One person said, "He can stay an hour at the atm no one would complain."

Another wrote, "Not just to keep criminals away but also to keep people from asking for money like family members and friends."
