It's the latest craze and every child seems to have one.

I'm talking about fidget spinners.

It's a toy which can relieve stress and help people who have trouble with focusing or fidgeting (those with ADHD, Autism, and anxiety).

While the craze has caught on in 2017, these spinners have been around since the 1990s. Some schools have banned them because they are a distraction during lesson time, while a few have decided to be a bit more relaxed as the spinners aid concentration levels.

However, as with most crazes, it is all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

A child has been rushed to hospital after one of the small discs fell off and landed in his mouth.

And this is not the first time the toy craze has injured a child. Their safety is currently being investigated in Western Australia after an 11-year-old sustained an eye injury while using a spinner.
