Young girl: "Daddy, there's a boy in school who wants to marry me"

Her parents are definitely keeping this video to remind her about this one day...

Usually, there is this innate bond between fathers and their daughters. One where fathers look to their daughters as their little girls.

So, any inclination toward them growing up including the thought of them getting into a relationship is frowned upon by most dads.

It is for this very reason that we found this video to be so adorable. Where a little girl shares all with her dad about a boy in school.

Her words say one thing but if we have to dissect this story, we think there is more to it.

In a video, a young girl is videoed telling her dad about a boy in school who said he wants to marry her.

Her response to his proposal: "I'm not here for love, I'm here for work".

Wouldn't you agree that that is priceless?

She goes on to say that she suggested other girls he could marry. And then proceeds to say that he was rude to her the day before and she wasn't going to stand for any of that.

Which was a firm indication to us that there is more to this than meets the eye. Nevertheless, she ends by saying that he must stop talking to her about love...

A good video to have for the archives and release when she's sixteen...Check out the video below, courtesy of TikTok

As much as we know this young girl was charismatic in her delivery of her classmate asking her hand in marriage and the innocence associated with it.

Child marriage is a real issue in many parts of the world, including Africa. This is why it is important to educate our children about what happens in other countries.
