Miss South Africa is the pinnacle of pageantry in Mzansi.

Described as "a leadership platform for ambitious young South African women", it has certainly been something of a vision for many young women from different walks of life. (Miss SA website)

For Carol Ofori, it was in 1993, when Jacqui Mofokeng won the title of Miss South Africa that the script changed.

We asked Carol Ofori for her fondest memory of Miss South Africa to set the scene for yet another milestone moment in her career.

Maybe she wasn't able to wear the crown, but alongside the vivacious Bonang Matheba, she was the Voice of God at the Miss South Africa 2023 pageant. 

And the honour and prestige behind being that voice comes with a host of achievements, both in the industry and for her personally.
