Today is extra special because we don't just have one woman crush. We are celebrating a congregation of women who have collectively decided to share their stories with the world.

Authors, Beverley Dias and Dr. Carmen James have spearheaded a beautifully composed book called Journeys

The book is home to the stories of several women who have taken this opportunity to share a life experience that is meant to inspire and motivate others.

"Journeys is a labour of love, birthed by a group of women with a love for the written word and enough life experiences to tell compelling stories of wins and losses, victories and defeats as well as trials and triumphs."

The contributors have written about real-life stories and the book has resonated with many readers, both female and male.

It is even more inspiring to hear that the book was self-published and that the authors are collectively responsible for the sales and marketing.

Some of the topics that have been covered in Journeys range from divorce and Imposter Syndrome to fighting the State and losing a parent to terminal illness.

The common thread that runs through all the stories is the triumph after adversity and the universal message of “Nothing is impossible”.

Now that sounds like something that everyone should have on their bed stand. Especially during these trying times when everyone is going through some sort of challenge in their lives.

Dr. Carmen James is an integrative medical doctor and certified health coach with a special interest in lifestyle and botanical medicine. Her passion lies in health and wellbeing, and at the moment she is focusing her efforts on encouraging women to lead a healthier lifestyle.
