WATCH: Parents remove noodle from toddler's nostril
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Children are prone to pushing things up their nostrils out of curiosity...

It's not unusual for kids to stick strange things in their mouths or up their nostrils as they grow and explore the world around them.
Aside from the initial shock parents might feel, most times these things can be easily retrieved and become just another funny story.
The trick is to stay calm.
Parents of a toddler shared a video showing how they found a noodle stuck inside their child's nose.

Mom recorded the incident while dad used a cotton bud to remove the noodle.
The toddler didn't seem distressed or uneasy, but when dad managed to grip the noodle and pull it out, the baby was visibly relieved. The little boy's innocent excitement left mom laughing as he said, "a noodle."
