Video footage has captured a man trying to abduct an 11-year-old girl from a bus stop in Pensacola, Florida. The girl managed to fight back and break loose from his grip, but only just.

We can't even imagine what she must have been feeling throughout the experience and more so what her family must be feeling.

The video below shows the attack and also adds in some defence moves that can be used if you or your children ever find yourselves in such a position.

The girl, Alyssa, was interviewed by a news station and she spoke about how she kept thinking about her family. A 30-year-old man has been arrested by the police as the perpetrator of the attempted abduction. He had stopped at a convenience store after the incident and this led to his arrest.

The man's bail has been set to $1.5-million and according to reporters, he shook his head the entire time in court. An interview with a woman who lived on the man's road revealed her feeling of shock that someone who had such intentions was living in such close proximity to her and her 15-year-old son.

The little girl revealed in the latest interview below that she learned how to defend herself from watching TV and, more specifically, 'Law and Order'. Her mum mentioned that she had this conversation with her daughter a few days before the incident, informing her of what to do in such circumstances.

Alyssa managed to get blue slime on the man before he ran off and this was something she learned from watching 'Law and Order'.

It just goes to show that you never know when people are watching you. Also, the importance of being aware and prepared for such things. Unfortunately, in the times we live in, we have to prepare our children for the worst.
