Twin TikTokers are dancing up a storm, providing a positive spin for prisoners

We have seen many things flourish on TikTok. Some we understand, others leave us mystified. 

Because as much as people may try some really out there things on TikTok, we cannot say for sure that there is a set formula to making it. 

Sometimes it works, other times it flops. 

But for these twin brothers it seems to have blown up.

Banele and Bandile go as skinnyleague on TikTok and have become a hit sensation on the social media platform. 

The two live close by to a correctional facility in Mpumalanga. Their journey and content on TikTok has been influenced to a large extent by them living close to the correctional facility. 

Their videos have created somewhat of a stir as the background set up looks like the inside of a prison cell.

This coupled with their orange-coloured, custom made prison-styled outfits, have made many people believe that they are in fact sharing videos from prison. 

The brothers have claimed that they represent the voices of criminals who have been in prison. 

Banele told TshisaLive: “You’ll always have the positive and negative sides, but we choose to focus on the positive. We meet people who have personally gone through this experience. Them sharing their experience gives us a glimpse of what they went through,” said Banele. 

“We believe this may help send the message out about mental health.” (MSN)

In this video reveal, the two share how they made their custom-made prison outfits. This left many people shocked, as they learnt that the brothers were not in fact in prison.
