Elizabeth Norman, aka Astro Liz, is a seven-year-old astronaut in the making and has her own YouTube channel where she shares her passion for all things space. After staging her own space rocket launch, she was discovered by some pretty important people.

"Her enormous enthusiasm for all things lunar captured the attention of US experts currently prepping the real Vulcan Centaur for the first moon landing in nearly 50 years," states Metro.

The United Launch Alliance (ULA) has a minute space available on an upcoming mission where they will send the world's first-ever private pod to land on a lunar surface.

After seeing what Astro Liz has been up to with her passion, she has now been given an opportunity to send something to space in this 'time capsule'.

Watch her story shared on her Instagram account.

The seven-year-old says: "I love science and space because there is so much to learn and I love exploring and doing experiments."

She says "her goal is to one day walk on the moon and to explore the highest mountain on Mars."

Her parents are so proud of her and have seen a big leap in her confidence since she found out that she will be able to send a sticker to space. Both her parents have engaged and assisted her with her science experiments and her recent cardboard rocket launch posted on social media caught the attention of Tory Bruno, the CEO of ULA, and lunar lander manufacturer Astrobotic.

He then reached out to Elizabeth and asked her to be "part of the real launch of Astrobotic’s Peregrine lunar lander on board ULA’s Vulcan Centaur when it takes off later this year."

Astrobotic is offering businesses and people a chance to buy space on the lander and as part of their mission. "Nasa is paying $79.5 million for 14 slots on the mission."

Elizabeth will become the first child in the world to send something to the moon. How amazing is that? We love her enthusiasm and the fact that at such a tender age, she is able to know with such certainty what she wants to do in life. Totally radical!
