A quiet toddler means something is up...

Kids really know how to make your day...

It is a general rule of thumb that a quiet toddler means something is up.
You either have to run to find them or accept that they have already done something that may have left a mess.
In our experience, accepting the fact is much better. As it saves us from losing our cool and getting worked up when, ultimately, it is done.
One mom that reminded us of that found a bottle of YogiSip (drinking yoghurt) missing, coupled with a quiet toddler.
And for evidence and relatability, she captured the discovery part on her phone.
Thankfully she did, because we are certain that this might have added to her not losing her cool. In the kid's defence, it could've been worse.
Perhaps that should be the rule of thumb in responding to quiet kids - always approach with caution and with the mindset that it could've been worse...
