PARENTING: Mom shares her getting-ready-for-school secret

Parenting hacks that make all the difference to our lives...
In an ideal world, children wouldn't fuss about getting ready in the mornings...
Well, as a parent and a realist, we know that we don't exactly live in an ideal world. We have to create the ideal for ourselves.
And sometimes that takes lots of patience and understanding. So when we saw what this mother shared on her TikTok as a hack to get your kids excited about getting ready (yes, we used the word excited), we had to share it with you.
This mother's genius hack on TikTok really got other parents excited too. And to think, all it took was some paper, a laminator, velcro, and some creativity.
The hack is a simple but effective way to give our kids a sense of ownership. When it comes to feeling like they are in control, it is always best to stand back and think about how it feels to be told to do this and do that all the time...

As you can see, each of the activities had a tab that the kids could flip to close, marking it as completed. It essentially gives them control of their mornings and days, and allows them to be the leaders of their lives.
Because, ultimately, isn't that what we all want? To feel like we are in control, and that we can make our own decisions. So why not extend that mentality to our children? Many other parents came to the video post and asked this mom if she could make these for them.
"How can we buy one? I need this in my life!!!" and "Pleaaaase make this your business. I want two already lol I'm not this creative," were just some of the responses.
