Some guests are always prepared for a doggy bag, even if that wasn't part of the plan...

We all love and welcome our family during the festive season.

Not only is it traditional to host family and friends during Christmas, but it's also part of the package to be prepared for anything during their visit.

Some of the usual things to expect are unwanted opinions, people going through your cupboards, nosy questions, some untidiness, and, of course, expecting a food parcel when leaving.

As South Africans, we assume that perhaps it is just our families who expect to take home leftovers after a get-together.

But a video shared on a TikTok account proves that this is something that happens with almost every family.

In the video, we see an elderly woman who seems to be at a kid's party with her family. She swiftly removes a packet from her bag and empties the table snacks into the packet.
