Little girl shuts down the birthday singing like a boss

Celebrating your kids' birthdays with cakes, balloons and jumping castles is part and parcel of being a parent.
While the thought behind the celebration plays a factor, this generation of youngsters can truly humble you in the most entertaining ways.
A video reshared on Instagram showed a three-year-old who wasn't shy about telling her family they were overdoing it with the singing. Usually, the birthday boy or girl stays quiet while and awkwardly smiling through the singing, but this little shining star wasn't afraid to burst her family's bubble by ending the singing.
We loved her authority and confidence in expressing herself, and if we're honest, while we appreciate the family's efforts, we get why she stopped them.

It was her following through with a 'thank you guys' after telling them to shut it down that left us in awe of her confidence.
The little girl, Lumi, has a TikTok page with over 126,000 followers and is described as a "Tiny human. Big personality."
