In the Summertime when the weather is fine...

There is definitely something sweeter in the air during Summertime.

Besides the holiday mood, there are certain things that we all just look forward to during the December period.

And fruit happens to be one of them. In our beloved province, we are truly spoilt for choice, with an abundance of fruits like Litchi, Watermelon, Strawberry, Blueberry, Nectarine, Peach, and the voluptuous Mango.

But like everything, fruits have become somewhat of a delicacy with the price being less than affordable for many.

It is for this reason that we were so excited to see a TikToker share her fruit find with us. Yes, we have places like Food Lover's, Woolworths, Checkers, and PnP, but nothing beats a street-side stall.

Melanie Singh recently shared a video on TikTok saying: "This is why people from Verulam won't buy fruit from any other place."

Although Melanie didn't specify exactly where you can find this stall in Verulam (North of Durban), after scrolling through the comments, check out the below.

Everyone calls this store the Under the Tree market on Todd Street.

With prices and the selection as good as it gets, we are not surprised that the Verulam community has kept this under wraps.

We are grateful that she shared it with us. Don't say we didn't hook you up with a good deal this festive season...

You can never go wrong with a good fruit and veg dealer.
