How do you pronounce 'Umhlanga'?

The diverse nature of how we speak is what makes us unique as a community.

We love how diverse we are as a country - and that goes for each province as well.

For instance, KwaZulu-Natal fully represents the diversity of our country with all the different cultures that call the province home.

Our differences somehow bring us together, because they represent something similar in our cultures. One such difference is the way we speak.

There's the technically correct way of pronouncing all things KZN, and then there's the individualistic touch that we all bring to it.

One company that recently introduced something fun and engaging for people to do in Durban is Create Ceramics

Create Ceramics is a spot that you can go to with friends, family or even alone to make some pottery art - and they are showing us the diverse nature of their team and we love it.

Check out their fun video where they asked their team, 'How do you pronounce uMhlanga?'

It is fun to note that there were some similarities, but that many of the team members brought their own 'je ne sais quoi' to their pronunciation.

And isn't that what we can expect from our community, to bring their own unique style to things?
