It's not the first time we have noticed people using social media to get a message out there.

For brands, social media can be life-changing. A classic example of this was seen when a group of creatives tried to get the attention of Fanta at the Coca-Cola offices in Johannesburg.

They shared a video showing how they got together, created professional signboards, and asked motorists to hoot in support of their mission, which was held on the pavement outside the Coca-Cola building.

This group of creatives had one mission and one mission only: to pitch an idea to the Coca-Cola company. The idea has to do with the Fanta brand, hence their colour choice.

After much time and no one noticing them, a friend called the Coca-Cola offices and asked them to look outside.

An employee came down, spoke to them, and said he would make sure that their messaging would get to the relevant people at the Coca-Cola offices.

It's been 10 days since this initial pitch took place and they have not heard from anyone at Fanta.

They did, however, get the attention of Sho Madjozi, who said: "Love this go-getter attitude."
