#AppreciationMonday: Misunderstanding shows how much this brother cares

Sometimes, just sometimes, they shock us with their way of thinking...

It is easy for our kids to get the wrong end of the stick sometimes. We believe it is only natural.

Because they are still learning how to process their thoughts and how to make sense of things.

Sometimes, we are guilty of leading them to believe certain things, especially when they don't listen after a long day.

For this young lad, it was a misunderstanding filled with tears.

In a video posted by mum, Khodani Hlatshwayo, we see her toddler walk up to her whilst she is holding the baby.

He is distraught and pulling at the baby, saying he loves him.

She reveals in the text overlay that the toddler had seen them gather some baby things and made a big assumption.

He assumed that they were taking the baby back to the hospital.

His response was so heartbreaking though. He kept telling mum he loves the baby and that he will play with him.

It's not easy raising kids who are under five years old, but sometimes we do things right and this is one of those weird but rare moments.

Meanwhile, mum and dad gathered some baby stuff that they were no longer using to donate to a charity called Guardians of Hope. They care for vulnerable children under three years of age.
