Every year, the Royal Show hosts epic concerts supported by East Coast Radio and Radio Sonder Grense. The ECR Royal Rock and RSG Afrikaans Musiek Konsert will see a bunch of epic bands performing at this year's Royal Show. Check out who will be performing and how you can meet the bands.
The Royal Show has an epic line-up of well-known and up-and-coming artists performing this year at the ECR Royal Rock and the RSG Afrikaans Musiek Konsert! Each concert will be jam-packed with live, local music stars, encompassing everything from indie folk to groovy deep house hits! These are musical events not to be missed...
The ECR Royal Rock is ecstatic to host legends Mi Casa and Matthew Mole, as well as supremely successful newcomer Matt Gardiner. The bands will be performing on Saturday the 26th of May 2018, kicking off at 14:30! Join East Coast Radio for an awesome concert and a whirl of a time.
Local legend Armand Die Singende Cowboy will be performing, as well as actress and singer Elizma Theron, promoting her recent album ‘Boeregirl met ‘n Country Hart’. Small town performer Refentse will wow the crowds with his soulful songs, and wildly popular heartthrob Brendan Peyper will make an appearance, to the delight of the young ladies present!
You can catch the RSG Musiek Konsert on Sunday the 27th of May for a proper South African joll!
Remember, The Royal Show takes place at the Royal Agricultural Showgrounds, Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg, from Friday 25 May to Sunday 3 June 2018.
