The Aryan Benevolent Home appeals to companies to kindly donate before year-end

The end of the Tax Year is upon us and the Aryan Benevolent Home (ABH) is appealing to companies to please donate. The national charity provides support to the aged, frail, physically and mentally challenged, as well as abused women and orphans.

Your contribution will help the 98-year-old Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) provide the best possible care to its residents and children.

The ABH is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and therefore donations are tax deductible. The ABH will issue Section 18A Certificates for donations for submission with your tax return. By donating to the ABH, companies can also avail themselves of higher BEE ratings.

Mohil Bandulal, President of the ABH Council stated “Our goal is to always ensure that our 1000 residents are cared for optimally. We currently need a pipe cooling system which will improve ventilation. We also need generators to reduce the severity of load shedding.

“Our costs include our laundromat, solar panels, vehicles (we currently need an ambulance and a vehicle to transport our children to school), JoJo tanks which produce safe water and cot beds for our elderly and frail residents. We appeal to the public to assist us. Thank you for helping us to fulfil our mission of caring, sharing and serving.”
