Zaba needs your help
Updated | By Staff Writer
I got the below letter in the post yesterday, from a listener.
I am horrified that such things are happening, but I am not sure what to tell her.
Please help me respond: what advice should I give to her?
Here’s what was written to me:
Hi Zaba
My name is ***** and I’m from Durban. I was wondering if you could help me. I’m in a sticky situation.
Last year I completed my [university degree] and since I have struggled to find work until recently where I was called into a job interview in a very big company which I shan’t name.
After my interview [one of the employees from the company] called me and asked to meet me privately. In our private meeting he told me that if I slept with him the job would definitely be mine.
I’m confused as to what to do because I am in immense debt with the study loans and I am not in a financially stable home. Please give me advice.

Has someone ever asked you for a sexual favour in return for something you really wanted? What advice would you give the person who wrote the letter to Zaba? What would you do if you were in her shoes?
