Would you risk your own life to help a stranger in danger?

An elderly lady and her 1-year old grandchild were rescued by a heroic truck driver, David Fredericksen in Mississippi

In the footage below you see David approaching a burning car in the middle of the highway, pulls over, and runs towards the wreckage with a fire extinguisher! 

Inspired by his actions, other bystanders also leave their own cars to help the passengers in the burning car 

“We noticed there was a lady in the front, kicking the front seat – the door, trying to get out, and when we opened the door I noticed a 1-year-old little girl in the back seat,” Fredericksen told ABC News 

Remarkably, aside from the grandmother suffering a broken leg, everyone involved escaped without any serious injury.
