A mother of three and Pizza Hut regular Cheryl Treadway wrote a note on her online order saying “Please help. Get 911 to me.”
Pizza Hut employee Candy Hamilton said she called her boss, who told her to call 911 immediately.
When the police arrived at Cheryl Treadway's house the were greeted by Treadway and a small child.
She told them that her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson, was armed with a knife and two other children were inside.
The manager of the Pizza Hut store said that they have never seen this before. He has been in the industry for over 28 years and nothing like this has ever come through.
The police managed to persuade Nickerson to leave the house and was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon without intent to kill, battery, false imprisonment and obstructing justice.
