Win a sheep for Braai Day
Updated | By Staff Writer

If there’s one thing South Africans are good at, it’s braaing. So much so that our Heritage Day has unofficially been renamed Braai Day.
September 24th (aka Braai Day) is nearly upon us, which got The Breakfast Stack thinking: how much meat is enough meat to mark this day – a day which is so fundamental to the identity of us as South Africans?
Our calculations went something along the lines of:
Family + Friends + Importance of the Day + Public Holiday celebration + It’s Braai Day + X = ??
Darren’s answer: a sheep. Yes, an entire sheep.
And so we present to you this hand-selected sheep, courtesy of the team at Emam Bux, which we’re giving away to one lucky Breakfast Stack fan. (Butcher man holding the sheep not included).
This is enough meat to feed your family, friends and some strangers on Braai Day.
All you have to do is try and guess the weight of this beast.
Make sure you’re signed in, and then leave your guess in the comments’ section below. Closest guess wins the sheep!
*T&C’s apply. The winner will be announced on Friday.
*We have a winner! Congratulations to AaronN - who was the first person to make the correct guess of 16.4kgs.
