‘Wedding of the century' really?
East Coast Breakfast’s Natarah didn’t really give two hoots about what’d been dubbed ‘the celebrity wedding of the century’. That is until she saw what the bride, Kim Kardashian, wore.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding made headlines the world over at the weekend. It topped the must-see lists of many celebrity watchers. Not all people were interested in the musician and reality star’s nuptials however. I was among the sane ones.
I detested the fact that at every click online there was a swarm of news reports building up to what’d been dubbed ‘the celebrity wedding of the century.’ Was the Kimye union really the biggest celeb wedding “of all time?”

Then, entertainment reporters worked overtime at the weekend to bring us glimpses of the couple tying the knot in Italy, coupled with photos taken from the Kardashian clan’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.
I really didn’t want to concern myself with the marriage of one of the most talented musicians in the world to a woman whose sole claim to fame was a sex tape. That is, until I saw her wedding dress.
Kim Kardashian’s wedding gown is impressive. Actually, the Givenchy designer dress is breathtakingly beautiful! The white long-sleeved dress, with lace detail and mermaid-silhouette also featured a massive sheer veil that served as the bride’s crowning glory.
The body-hugging, open back gown, apparently cost $2.1-million! Was it worth every penny? You be the judge. Have a look at some of the photos from Kimye’s wedding below.
