VIDEO: Blind man sees again
Updated | By Rory Petzer

In September, doctors implanted an electronic stimulator into his left eye.
The device does not restore 100% vision, but it provides him with the ability to at least differentiate between light and dark.
Coming from a world of complete darkness, this is a monumental step, and Larry's reaction affirms it as such.
Larry said, "The light is so basic and probably wouldn't have significance to anybody else, but to me it's meaning I can see ... and we can go from here."
The electronic simulator was turned on for the first time on 1 October by Larry's eye surgeon Dr. Paul Hahn.
Larry is the seventh person in the United States to receive the visual aid, known as the Argus II Retinal Prosthesis System.
Watch the moment Larry sees again right here.
