VIDEO: A TV Reporter Takes a Splash!
According to an online report by The Times, television reporter Martje Oesterholt, who was creating a promotional video took a wrong step or two, grabbed onto the wrong piece of rope and then tumbled into the water!
Oesterholt was walking along the boat to greet the mayor of Kampen, Bort Koelewijn.
Appearing relaxed and informal, she then goes to grab a rope going across the boat that she believes to be taut. Unfortunately it is slack.
Oesterholt is then seen tumbling sideways into the water below causing a big splash.
All ends well, as a lifebelt is thrown to the obviously very embarrassed and shocked reporter is help to safety.
