Video of 9-year old transgender boy touches millions

Renée Fabish, originally from New Zealand, posted a raw slide-show style video calling for support from loved ones for her transgender 9-year old son. The message has since gone viral.

A mother from Brisbane, Australia, recently shared this heartfelt video on facebook, about the journey of her 9 year old son Milla, who was born female.

Renee Fabish posted the video as a call for support from her loved ones as her child transitions.

Milla has been diagnosed with gender dysphoria, where a person identifies with the gender opposite to their biological gender. Milla has to put up with being bullied daily at school.

In the video, Renne explains that from as young as 2, Milla referred to herself as a girl-boy and liked "boy things"from a very early age. People told them she was a tomboy and would grow out of it. "Her gender assigned at birth does not align with how she feels inside-Milla was born female but identifies as male" said Renee.

I must commend Renee and her husband on their amazing parenting skills. Many children who are born with gender dysphoria, never get diagnosed and often get bullied and teased with then leads to harming themselves and even attempting suicide.

This little 9 year old has shown us that it's okay to be different. Make sure that you're happy first and what the world thinks will sort itself out
