Unathi's angry Mango tweet

Are you the type of person who complains about bad customer service, or do you prefer not to make a fuss? Idols SA judge Unathi has caused a social media flurry with an angry tweet - aimed at Mango Airlines.

So yesterday, Idols SA judge and songstress Unathi Msengana tweeted out about some bad customer service from a Mango Airlines staff member while she was trying to check into her flight.

I saw her tweet and I shouted out (in my head) "YOU GO GIRL!!!!"

It's not yet entirely clear what happened - but Unathi mentioned the words 'disrespectful' and 'humiliating'. It doesn't sound pleasant.

To the airline's credit, Mango did pick the tweet up - and responded: 

I'm not a fan of bad customer service at all. I'm one of those annoying people who make a fuss at bad service - whether it's from a waitron or if a product I received was mediocre. 

For example, last week, my fiance and I went to the movies and the popcorn was stale. We told the cashier and she went to "change" it - and obviously it was still stale after that. 

So I said to her you taste it, and she said "So sorry honey, I'm not allowed to taste". Who the hell was she calling honey? I don't remember her being my bestie. At this point I just simply left and looked for a manager who tasted the popcorn and replaced our stale popcorn with a freshly popped batch.

I know some people don't like to cause a scene but trust me, there are many ways you can ensure you get good service without the drama.
