The male birth simulator!

The male birth simulator!

With me being an expectant mom, advice about pregnancy has come from all directions. Here are the questions I ALWAYS get asked - and some of the weird things people say to me. (Many of them men!)

I have had people tell me I can't eat certain foods, and people tell me to not have hot baths or drink tea because it will burn my baby... But my favourite thus far has to be all the advice I have received about giving birth.

Firstly, when people see my bump there are three questions I always get asked:

1) When are you due?

2) Boy or girl?

3) Natural or caesarean birth?

Funny enough, the number of men vs women who have told me how painful childbirth is - is rather large.

The gents seem to be the experts at knowing that childbirth is "super painful" and is like "pushing a watermelon out your nostril".

Well gents, here's a solution so you can really tell me what childbirth is like - sans the assumptions.

A Chinese hospital is offering  childbirth taster sessions.

For the simulations, pads are attached to a device are placed above the abs. They then give electric shocks that induce pain. The experience lasts for about five minutes. One of the guys who has already tried it said that it felt like his heart and lungs where being ripped apart.

So gents, would you be able to go through the simulator? And ladies, (especially expectant ladies) would you want your partner to go through this experience?
