The matric exam results across South Africa will be available from 6am on the 7th of January 2014!

Don't stress about getting your results, there are so many ways you can find out just how well you did.

Good luck and no matter what your results are, just remember that you gave it your best shot!

School

Schools will post results early. (Call first to make sure they’re there). This is the most fun as classmates can gather round and commiserate or celebrate together.

Newspapers

The results will be published in all major national newspapers as always.

Send a SMS

All your teen has to do is register via SMS for the SABC Education service.

Students can register by texting their ID number and exam number to the SMS number 35658. Messages cost R3.

Students are allowed to register until 31 January 2014.  (This service is available to the Department of Basic Education students only.)

Make a call

If students were not able to pre-register they will also be able to call 082 152 on the day the results are released, select option 6, punch in their ID and exam numbers and the results will be relayed.

Online

The Department of Basic Education's website has all the results – but remember that your teen will need their exam number. Bear in mind that website traffic will be high, so expect delayed response times.
