10 most annoying office habits

If you work in an office environment there is no doubt there are things people do that irritate you. Well, there are things you do too, that irritate others! Here is a list of ten. Please add to it.

This is a list compiled by Telegraph.co.uk after a recent spat in England involving the Chief Secretary to the Treasury and the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

In short, the one accused the other of keeping a padlock on the office fridge because people 'were using his milk', with the other hitting back accusing his colleague of locking the fridge.

It appears trivial office bickering is nothing unusual. Here is a list of  ten of the most irritating habits in the workplace:

1. They phone IT at least once a day, and the response is invariably: “Have you tried switching off your computer, then switching it on again?”

2. They always ask to use your stationary, then fail to return it.

3. They come to the office in their gym gear, just to remind everyone that they have already been to the gym that morning.

4. They audibly discuss intimate details about their sex life.

5. They constantly ask if they can “pick your brain.”

6. They never offer to do a tea round.

7. They make snide comments about how long you take for your lunch break.

8. They do inappropriate things while sitting at their desk, such as clipping their nails or plucking their chin hair.

9. They come into work ill, then complain about being ill all day.

10. They take off their shoes as soon as they get in, and sit at their desk all day bare foot.
