Six-year-old steals phone from cell shop

Every day we see clips online or read about how criminals are getting more and more brazen. Ever more creative in the way they relieve us of our personal and prized possessions. So it does take something rather special to catch my attention, having become quite immune to the daily evil deeds of the criminal bastards. 

So when I saw this video online I was well upset. A mother has trained her 6 year-old to steal. While pretending to make a purchase or enquiry at what appears to be a cellphone repair shop here in Bellville, Cape Town, the woman’s daughter sneaks behind the repair counter while the staff are distracted, and steals two pricey Samsung cellphones. 

I’m livid. basically, that child does not stand a chance. She is a born criminal. She’ll steal all her life. I mean, it’s normal isn’t it? Her mom taught her that that is how the world works. And what next? This is obviously their modus operandi - you can see that child was confident, she knew what she was doing. They’ve done it before. And then what happens when they are caught? How do you punish a 6 year-old who was only doing what her mother taught her? 

Hopefully, with this clip, the mother can be identified and arrested and thrown in jail. She should rot in jail, not for the meagre crime of cellphone theft, but on the greater charge of  'Messing Up A Child’s Life For Good' - I know they’ll never write that on the charge sheet, but that should be what she should be charged with. And she should never come out.
