Samuel L. Jackson goes off at TV anchor
In what might be the most cringe-worthy interview ever, an entertainment reporter mixed up Samuel L. Jackson with Laurence Fishburne…during a live interview with Jackson. Watch the video here – Jackson’s response is hilarious.
It was an interview on a morning breakfast show that was supposed to be about promoting Samuel L. Jackson’s latest film, Robocop.
But things went awry when entertainment reporter Sam Rubin asked Jackson about his latest Super Bowl commercial.
Laurence Fishburne actually featured in the ad.
Here’s how the exchange went:
Rubin: “Did you get a lot of reaction from that Super Bowl commercial?"
Jackson: "What Super Bowl commercial?"
Awkward silence.
Then Jackson had a rant – and some fun with the now very embarrassed Rubin.
