Ramona loves radio

 

Vivacious, easy-going and passionate, Ramona Kasavan presents The Lounge every Saturday and Sunday between 17h00-21h00.

This DJ with ‘girl next door’ appeal hails from the hills of Inanda. Ramona first started Red Cap Radio at the tender age of 21 and then moved to bright lights of Joburg to work the graveyard shift at Highveld. But she’s delighted to be back on KZN soil and working at East Coast Radio.

Ramona is a Media and Communication Masters student but enjoys travelling in her down time because she says she has ‘super-itchy feet.’ She is also real family girl who says her whole family shares her love for eating, dancing and music.

This gregarious lady also loves relaxing on the beach because it brings her peace and serenity, just one of the reasons why she loves KZN. So what does she enjoy most about radio? She quips, “The fact that people can hear your smile over the airwaves and when listeners say thank you for keeping them company it is always a pleasure.”
