Q&A with Idols SA's Vincent B!

Vincent wowed fans with his performance on Idols SA on Sunday. Take a look at his rendition of Sam Smith's Stay with Me here. 

He says he’s feeling excited and nervous ahead of his performance this weekend, when he’ll take to stage for the last time. 

"It's really, really nerve-wracking, but I am feeling excited at the same time," he said. 

Darren asked you this morning to send through questions for Vincent on our Facebook fan page.

We selected a couple of them to ask him. Here's what he had to say: 

Sandile Hlope asked:

Why are you always so emotional when you sing your songs?

"I guess I've always been a kind of serious person... and I love music so much. I am always serious about it, and focussed about it." 

Sbusiso Biyela asked:

Aside from Idols, what does Vincent B do for a living?

"I used to work for a church actually, full-time in Pietermartizburg, doing their music. And before that I used to work at a couple of call centres. I was one of those people." (laughs)  

Lorraine Ntsikane-Sibindi asked: 

How does he still stay so grounded with his new fame?

"I think the thing that keeps me grounded is that I believe in the gift I have, I believe in what I am blessed with. For me, I love music so much and I love people so much - I probably love people more than anything; one of the things I live for is communicating with people, to understand and to get to know people."

Sphe Mandlisa asked: 

Do u believe u gonna WIN Season 10 Idols?

"I believe I’m going to make it to the end! I can only do the best that I can do and let destiny do the rest."
