Pregnant woman video a hoax
It turns out the story of a pregnant French woman looking for the father of her unborn child was a very clever marketing stunt.
East Coast Drive posted a story about a young French woman, Natalie Amyot, who apparently fell pregnant while on holiday.
It turns out it was all a very clever marketing stunt set up by a Sunshine Coast-based social media company.
The aim of the campaign was to put Mooloolaba on the map.
East Coast Drive thinks it was an absolutely brilliant campaign as it got us all thinking, sharing and commenting.
In the end, nobody was hurt and it got us all talking: mission accomplished.
