Patricia Lewis reveals MasterChef winner

The East Coast Breakfast team has been rooting for Patricia from the first episode of Celebrity MasterChef SA.

The team couldn’t be more excited that she made it into the finals!

Darren and Natarah decided to give her a call this morning before the grand finale this weekend. 

Patricia shared some very interesting behind-the-scenes info… 

1. What was your favourite dish on the show so far?

The wedding cake for sure!

2. Aside from you, which contestant is/was the most competitive?

Terence  because he is a foodie and very competitive. 

3. Who wins MasterChef?

The charity wins!

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, how stressful is MasterChef?

105! I lost 6kg in a month. Most stressful thing I’ve ever had to do besides walking on the wing of a plane, in the air!

5. Who is the most intimidating judge?

Pete Goffe-Wood because he hardly cracks a smile. 

6. Who wins MasterChef?

The charity!

7. What do you want for Mother’s Day?

My baby and hubby! I’m fortunate because I’ll also be spending Mother’s Day with my mum in Joburg. 

8. Who was your favourite celebrity chef?

Reuben, he is so helpful and assisted us while we were cooking. 

9. Who was your MasterChef bestie?

Terence, we swapped make up and baking tips.

10. Who irritated you the most?

Me, because I didn’t stop crying! There was always more than enough salt in my food because of all my tears! 

Patricia also revealed that Darren Maule was the reason why she decided to take part in MasterChef!

Last year, Darren and Patricia filmed a mini cooking show with Kevin Joseph from the Oyster Box Hotel.

Patricia revealed she had so much fun that she decided to give MasterChef a shot. 

Patricia will be going up against Chris Forrest in the Celebrity MasterChef grand finale on Sunday at 6pm on MNet.
