NSRI on alert for Durban yacht
Updated | By Nondumiso Zakwe
The National Sea Rescue Institute in Port Edward remains on alert after a yacht sailing from Durban to Cape Town suffered electrical failure.
Crew from the NSRI here had been dispatched last night to assist the vessel and tow it back to Durban.
However, the yacht has since drifted further south and is out of reach of the Durban crew.
The yacht is expected to sail to East London where it will get its electrical equipment repaired.
The two men onboard are not hurt.
