No skaam for #felfies (funeral selfies)
Updated | By tanstan fourie

Many of us have taken a selfie, or two, or three. Some of us are just selfie obsessed.
Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, for example, has gone OTT (over the top). It seems there’s not a day that goes by without her taking a picture of her pout. She’s kind of like the trendsetting selfie queen who flashes a smile for her cell phone everywhere. By everywhere I mean everywhere.
That’s probably why many people feel it’s acceptable to pose for a pic at a funeral. If you haven’t heard of the funeral selfie or felfie, you can now say you have. It’s become quite popular overseas.
Remember in December last year when the world frowned on the moment US President Barack Obama playfully posed for a photo with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Madiba’s memorial service?
Well, they’re not the only ones doing it. Have a look at these felfies we found on the web. What are your thoughts?
Do you think it’s alright to take selfies at a funeral or is it completely disrespectful?
