Portugal - Nani
The 27-year-old winger was born Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha. He also plays for English club Manchester United. He was serious about football from a very young age and began training when he was 9-years-old.
In 2011, Nani was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
When he was a child, he played barefoot on the streets of his hometown because his family couldn’t afford to buy him soccer boots.

USA – Jermaine Junior Jones
The 32-year-old defensive midfielder was actually born in Germany and represented them at U21 and senior level. He made his debut for the States on 2010 and played at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
He has been married since 2007 and is the proud dad of five children!
Jones scored the US’s first goal in its 2-2 draw against Portugal.
