My festive season rage
Updated | By tanstan fourie
I'm sure people believe I'm grumpy at the best of times, but nothing induces my rage like the festive season.

I appreciate that the working class need some time off during the year, but why does everyone have to take it in December and crowd every imaginable corner of my lovely city?
There they are queuing in traffic, queuing in shopping malls, queuing outside restaurants and seemingly every place I need to get into.
It's been said that the average human being will spend the equivalent of seven and a half years just queuing. And I firmly believe this happens during the festive season.
I'm considering an induced coma for future festive seasons. That way I would not put on any holiday weight, or age, and I wouldn’t be in such a bad mood in December.
