Movies to watch out for
It's Friday eve, which means we're closer to the weekend. It also means we can look forward to some new movies at the cinema. I've been scanning the Net, looking for some new films that I think I'd enjoy.
The Host comes out in SA tomorrow. It's the film adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's (Twilight franchise) novel of the same name. The sci-fi alien flick is set in the future and stars Saoirse Ronan. She's captured and infused with a soul called "Wanderer". However her mind starts fighting back for control of her body.
The Heat is an action comedy starring Sandra Bullock (Speed, Forces of Nature) and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids). Both women play cops, who are worlds apart when it comes fighting crime. One's a stick-to-the-book, dowdy FBI agent, the other a fiesty, don't-mess-with-me detective. They team up to take on a drug lord. This one's coming out in June.
