Marry where you met
People meet in the strangest of places - If you were to marry your spouse where you met them, where would it be? Darren shares his very romantic ‘would have been’ wedding venue story with us.
Darren was hosting a creativity game show called Out of the Box on SABC 3
His ex-wife worked at Urban Brew and wasn’t meant to be a contestant on the show that day.
But due to a contestant pulling out at the last second someone went rushing around the studio to find someone who could fill the spot.
So Darren’s ex-wife managed to fill in and he says ‘It was love at first sight’
Darren says he was getting his flirt on with her while they were shooting.
The flirting was so obvious that the producers told him not once but twice that there were other contestants and he had to pay attention to all of them not just her.
He said ‘No there aren’t, it’s just her and I will have her and she will be mine’
After the show, he took her for a drink and… she was his!
So there it is Darren would have gotten married LIVE on Television.
