Male breast cancer is real
Updated | By tanstan fourie
Natarah says she was really touched when she and Darren spoke to a young Pietermaritzburg woman about breast cancer awareness. 30-year-old Yeshni Sookraj wants men to know they need to be aware of this debilitating disease too.
Yeshni lost her uncle, 46-year-old Chatsworth resident Anesh Sookraj to breast cancer in July, after he was diagnosed two years ago. The cancer had reached stage four.
Since July, Yeshni has been spreading the word about this horrible disease. She’s started a Twitter account and Facebook page to inform people that breast cancer affects men too.
