Magnificent Mauritius Timelapse
Updated | By tanstan fourie
The timelapse video below is made up of 11 000 images rendered together and takes us on a magnificent island journey.
Mauritius is home to about 1.2-million people and has been called the “model of true democracy for every African country" by CNN.
Huffington post was completely blown away by this timelapse video and declared Mauritius ‘The Hawaii of Africa’ and a new destination to dream about!
"I haven’t been to Mauritius but this video makes me want to go there! I love how the cameraman captured the best bits in just a few seconds.
"My favourite part of the video is at 1.13 when you see the gorgeous cloud formations! I want to eat them," says Natarah.
We've also got a beautiful timelapse of Durban, which was published earlier this year. Watch it here.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
