Madiba a great ice-hockey player?

At a recent sporting event in Canada, held to honour Nelson Mandela's legacy, a journalist asked ice-hockey player Jonathan Bernier about Madiba's legacy. 

The footage of his reply is hard to watch! It's so cringe worthy and you can't help but wonder how he's going to feel watching this back. 

My best was him saying 'he' ( Nelson Mandela) was great "both on and off the ice". 

Hah! How hilarious. 

You have to give it to Jonathan; this guy sure knows how to spin a story....fake it till you make it, right? 

We have all had one of those moments where we find ourselves out of our depth and get that 'deer in headlights' feeling. 

For me, being on the set of Weakest Link comes to mind.
