Long Walk to Freedom premièred in Durban last night. This morning several members of the cast joined The Breakfast Stack in studio.

Anant Singh has been working on this project for the past twenty years, and by all accounts he has produced a brilliant film.
Darren felt it was a resounding success!
His casting of the magnificent character actor Idris Elba was inspired. Darren said he nailed Mandela.
And the beautiful Naomi Harris was magnificent as Winnie.

Today we were joined in studio by:
- Atandwa Kani who plays the young Mandela and is the son of acclaimed actor John Kani;
- Riaad Moosa who plays Ahmed Kathrada, and is becoming a very accomplished character actor.
- Deon Lotz who plays NP politician Kobie Coetzee;
- Tony Kgorage who plays the iconic Walter Sisulu
- Terry Pheto who heats up the screen as Evelyn Mase – Mandela’s first wife!
