#kyliejennerchallenge: a parent's nightmare

Having 3 small kids (a four year old and two 2 year olds) is a full time job but the words 'small kids small problems, big kids big problems' always seems to come up.

Just this past weekend a friend of mine was making coffee at 6am when she was greeted by her 12 year old daughter who's mouth was red and black and heavily swollen.

After a chilled family dinner the night before this girl and her friend had gone to her room and were on social media.

The #kyliejennerchallenge came up and she wanted to see if she could achieve the perfect full lipped pout for a selfie, so she put a shooter glass over her lips and sucked in air for a minute, the result was distressing.

This craze has spread like wildfire and in extreme cases kids come away with split and burst lips.

Being a parent to a teenager terrifies me, give me broken sleep and nappy changes any day. Here is a pic of her daughters mouth. Tune in at 12:30 when we chat about this further.
