King Shaka airport rocks!

Now although I haven't been to every single airport in the world, I've been to enough, I think, to have a favorite. So why is it that of all the ones I've been to, King Shaka comes out tops?

Before I list the 10 things that make King Shaka International the best of the best, which International airports am I comparing it to?

Well, OR Tambo, CT International, Lanseria, JFK, LaGuardia, o'Hare, Zurich, Frankfurt and Vàclav Havel, Heathrow and Maputo.

So here are my 10 reasons:

Ample spacious covered and well lit parking.

Clear well attended check in points.

Inconspicuous live entertainment to greet you hello or bid you farewell.

When you arrive there are copious trolleys laid out conveniently accessible in rows.

Every time I frequent the cloakroom I always bump into my favourite Sharks players.

Retail store prices are the same as they are in any mall you would shop at.

Cappuccino's are warm, freshly brewed and the service is outstanding.

I get my shoes polished while I read the paper seated in a genuine leather recliner.

I love the electronic check-in...

No matter the time or day the ACSA staff are always impeccably presented, plentiful, available and ready with a smile.

But the absolute best part of King Shaka International, is that half the time you use it, you're coming home!
