How to zap a zit!
Updated | By tanstan fourie
ECR Breakfast's Natarah has a skin problem. She thought she said goodbye to her pimples when she grew out of her teen years but sadly those exasperating zits are back!

Ladies, don’t you hate it when you’re getting ready for a big event realise, hours before the occasion that you’ve got a big, fat skin problem.
Not only do you have to sort out your hair, makeup and outfit, you’ve now also got to deal with a nasty zit that seems to have ripened into a juicy litchi overnight. What do you do? How do you squeeze the life out of that yucky pimple?
Natarah Nadesan’s been in that situation many times. She thought she said goodbye to her pimples when she grew out of her teen years ago but alas those exasperating zits are back!
So our ECR Breakfast co-host has turned to Kloof beauty therapist, Sharon Vosloo for help. She’s given Natarah a step-by-step guide on how to get rid of those pesky pimples. It’s a simple and easy process, just be very patient.
Step 1
It is always better to cleanse and exfoliate your face before attempting extractions. Make sure that you wash your hands properly before touching anything.

Step 2
You need to have a blood lancet (if you don't, a sterilized sharp needle will do) to prick the white top of the pimple or the top skin of a blackhead.

Step 3
After pricking the pimple, wrap a tissue around the fingers you will use to squeeze the zit (this will help to lessen the appearance of marks).

Step 4
Use the sides of the tips of the fingers to push against the skin and NOT your nails. When finding where to press, feel for the hard ball and make sure you push under that ball.

Step 5
Ease the contents out of the hole that you made with the lancet or needle and blot clean with your tissue. Be careful not to bruise the skin.

Step 6
Finish with your skin lotion or toner and your pimple treatment.

This morning after Natarah shared her zit problem, Darren told the team that he caught Given his step son popping his pimple in Darren's bathroom.
Darren wasn't very impressed that Given was popping his pimple in Darren's bathroom!
We want to know what have you done in someone else's bathroom that you should not have?
Gone through the cabinet, sprayed their deodorant etc.
